The trimming of the underbody panel required on the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76023 for a 2021 GMC Acadia is very minor. I have attached a photo below. The chain is also long enough to allow the lid to open up beyond totally vertical too so it wouldn't want to fall down and shut as soon as you let it go.
